Meet the New Nikon Z7 Mirrorless Camera: Friday, 9/14

On Thursday, August 23rd, Nikon announced an all-new full-frame mirrorless system, which includes the Z7 and Z6. Since then we have heard a lot of response, both good and slightly less-than-good. One of the main complaints is only having one memory card slot, and that slot being XQD. We really don’t think this will be a huge deal (beside having to buy a new type of card) for most shooters, but it is a valid concern to bring up. Other concerns have included the camera’s autofocus, and how it compares to a camera like the D850. A concern like that seems like it would affect more photographers, and is probably worth investigating. So, whether your opinion is the new Z series is the greatest thing since digital photography, or it seems like the series may already be a dud, how can you find out which way you should be really leaning? Try it for yourself! That’s right, on Friday, September 14th, from 11am to 3pm, Nikon will be present at our South Burlington retail store with a living and breathing (can cameras live and breath?)
