Benefits of a PROtection Plan

Frequently Asked Questions

The first step is to decide on a 3 year or 5 year warranty. After determining how long you want protection, you’ll then need to find the price range that matches your purchase. Always go by the price actually paid for an item before any applicable sales tax. You’ll need to take sales price into account. For example, if a product is regularly $1099, but is currently on sale for $999, then you will need to purchase the $750 to $1000 warranty. Although the item is normally over $1000, you are not able to protect more than what you actually paid. This will save you a little money on the warranty too!

Yes! In fact, we have an on-going promotion of 20% off an accidental damage warranty with the purchase of a new qualifying item (like a camera, lens, video camera, or flash). The warranty must be purchased at the same time (on the same receipt) as the item. If you decide you want the warranty later (you have up to 30 days from date of purchase) the discount will no longer be applicable. You can still purchase the warranty, but you’ll lose the 20% promotional discount.

You can protect up to 3 items that are part of the same bundle (items in the same retail box)! For example, if you purchase a camera kit that includes a lens, one warranty can cover both the camera and the lens.
